It's tradition that on Halloween, I drag my kids into the studio to photograph them in their costumes. I have been planning to make great big portraits of them in their costumes to hang in the playroom.... but that has yet to happen. The angel was the only one that was cooperative. Sharpay gave me major attitude and Clone Trooper Rex just wanted to shoot me. I guess they picked the right costumes!
This cute family has grown up a lot since the last time I saw them two years ago! Their son is now taller than both parents. This is the only little girl in the family and she is so sweet and feminine. You'd think that with 3 older brothers she'd have a bit of "tom boy" in her--- nope--- she is ALL girl! I'll post with my monthly favorites a few images of the boys just melting with her many kisses... In this shot, she looks a little solemn, but don't worry mom, we got smiles too. :)
I photographed a fun family last weekend. They had a great style about them and I wasn't surprised at all to find out that both parents in the home decor and design buisness. Here is one of their cute kids. I'll be showing more when I post my monthly favorites:

I photographed the Le family at the beach last week. This sweet 7 year old is the big sister to two year old twins. She was so watchful over his younger siblings and was helpful to her mother. I thought that this image depicted her beautiful traits and felt that she deserved her own image up on my blog for the family's sneak peek:)
This session was booked by this cute mom as an anniversary gift to her husband. So.... if you know this family.... shhhhhh :)
It feels like endless summer here in Southern California. Who would have guessed that we'd be dealing with the high 80's in October! One plus is that we've been enjoying warm beach sessions! :) Here's a fun one from the Nava's session:
I am archiving this first image for a decade or two. One day when Landon and Maddie are famous Olympians, I will make big bucks off this image. :) They are avid swimmers and look at all the medals they have won!!! Landon and Maddie have become my little friends over the years. It has been soooo much fun to see them grow up! I just love this family. Even the dad greets me with a hug. :)
I photographed a beautiful family at the beach. The little girls wore the most beautiful Victorian style dresses. What is it about little girl's lashes and curls that make for such a sweet, sweet portrait?
