Maika

I photographed baby Maika.  This little one is four months old.  I was so pleased that she gave us some awake AND some sleep time during her portrait session.  Maika's  name means "infinite possiblities" - a perfect name for this little miracle.  Thanks for the fun session!

Baby Broden

Oh wow... I am soooo behind on posting sneak peeks!  This is baby Broden.  I photographed him last week when he was about two weeks old.  He had is daddy's eyes and his mommy's lips.  He is such a beautiful little baby boy!

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope you all had a nice Mother's Day.  I sure did.  It was so relaxing.  I had TWO great naps, a wonderful home cooked dinner made by my husband and lots of little love notes and hand made gifts from my kids.  It was a beautiful day!
I can't leave a post without pictures.  These are some pictures taken last month.  This is my sister and two nieces.  I felt that they were good Mother's Day pictures!

Mother's Day Gift Ideas!

I've been meaning to make these available last month.  I just now got my jewelry samples and I am so excited to showcase them.  Of course I ordered most of my samples with pictures of MY kids so I can wear and enjoy them too!  These pieces are solid sterling silver, high quality jewelry.  Perfect for Mother's Day.  I can't get the pieces back in time for Mother's Day, but I have some really nice gift certificates so mom or grandma can choose her own piece.  My favorite piece is the purse brag tag! 

Jacob

So, I photographed 6 month old Jacob and his family the other day.  People often ask me what's my favorite stage to photograph.  I love newborns because they are so "fresh."  I love 4 year olds because they are so playful.  I love teens because they are so beautiful (there is no such thing as an "akward stage" anymore.  But I think that my all time favorite stage is 6 months old.  When they are sitting up, but not yet crawling.  I love the way they suck their toes and laugh at peak-a-boo.  I've photographed three six months old in the last week and I just realized that THIS is my favorite stage.  Love it!

the Campopiano Family

I photographed the Campopiano family the other day.  Two adorable boys and very sweet parents!

Treehouse

I photograhed a family last week in a unique setting... their tree house!  This is the tree house that these boys played on when they were young.  Now that they are grown and one is soon to be married, the mom thought this was the perfect setting for their family session.  Anyone who has ever been photographed by me knows that I'm a sucker for a fun "feet shot!"

9 day old newborn

Remember this maternity session?  I photographed the part 2 newborn session last week.  I had a REALLY hard time choosing which images to post.  This sweet nine day old was soooo good to me!  He slept through the entire session and was as perfect as could be.  I love it when people bring personal items to their session.  The mom received this darling rocking horse at her baby shower and we incorporated it into her maternity session.  I was so excited when she brought it back for the newborn session.  Now, before anyone writes me and questions my client's safety, please know that this baby is securely being held by his daddy behind the horse (he was just edited out :).  His daddy is also an AVID surfer and I was happy to photograph his on his "first ride" on his dad's board. 

the Wells Family

The Wells were a fun family to photograph.  Older kids are so funny when they all get together.  There was a lot of laughing during this session!

the Blair Family

I photographed the Blair family with their 2 very handsome sons.  They were so well behaved and with the help of a package of gummy bears, this little three year old gave me soooo many cute shots!  :)
